At the Institute of Royal Aesthetic of Sri Lanka, we strive to deliver the highest level of service. However, we understand that situations may arise where refunds are necessary. Please read the following refund policy carefully, as it outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are applicable.
1. General Refund Eligibility
Refunds are applicable only under the following circumstances:
1.1 Service Cancellations by the Institute: If a scheduled service, course, exam, or event is canceled by us due to unforeseen circumstances.
1.2 Overpayment or Duplicate Payments: Refunds will be issued for any overpayments or duplicate transactions.
1.3 Withdrawal Requests: If a user requests to withdraw from a service, course, or exam before the stipulated deadline (see section 3).
2. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be provided under the following circumstances:
2.1 Failure to attend a scheduled exam, class, or event without prior notice.
2.2 Dismissal from any service due to a violation of our terms and conditions or misconduct.
2.3 Requests made after the applicable refund deadlines.
2.4 Any third-party fees, such as travel or accommodation expenses, associated with Edu Tours or exams.
3. Refund Deadlines & Conditions
3.1 Courses and Programs:
- Full refunds are available if a withdrawal request is made at least 14 days before the course start date.
- Partial refunds (50%) are available for withdrawal requests made within 7-13 days before the start date.
- No refunds are available for withdrawal requests made less than 7 days before the start date.
3.2 International Exams:
- Refunds for exam fees are subject to the policies of the respective testing body (e.g., PSI, ETS, British Council, ITTS). Please refer to their official policies for details.
3.3 Memberships and Accreditation Services:
- Membership and accreditation fees are non-refundable once the application is processed.
4. Refund Process
4.1 Submission of Requests:
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing through the official refund request form available on our website or at the institute’s office.
- Supporting documentation (e.g., payment receipts, proof of cancellation, or withdrawal) must be provided.
4.2 Processing Time:
- Refund requests will be reviewed and processed within 14 business days from the date of submission.
- Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed upon.
4.3 Administrative Fees:
- A non-refundable administrative fee of 10% of the total amount may be deducted from eligible refunds to cover processing costs.
5. Force Majeure
Refunds may not be provided for disruptions caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or technical failures.
6. Changes to the Refund Policy
The Institute of Royal Aesthetic of Sri Lanka reserves the right to amend this refund policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review the updated policy periodically.
